CWPCP

Canadian Wood Packaging Certification Program (CWPCP): A certification system for facilities wishing to produce wood packaging material in accordance with the provisions of International Standard for Phytosanitary Measures No. 15, Regulation of Wood Packaging Material in International Trade. The objectives of the plant protection program within the CFIA are to prevent the introduction and spread within Canada of plant pests of quarantine significance, to detect and control or eradicate designated plant pests in Canada, and to certify plant and plant products for domestic and export trade.
